I went for a birthday getaway and the service was amazing! Timothy at check-in was super friendly and even offered champagne. The spa treatments were top-notch and I loved lounging by the adults-only pool with a stunning ocean view. Don't forget that taxis are scarce if you're heading to the airport. better plan ahead. Try the turkey burger!

The newly renovated room had a fresh feel. however, it lacked thorough cleaning, as the floor seemed untouched. Complimentary fruit arrived, but missing utensils made it less convenient. The brunch menu was limited for New Year’s, which was a downside, yet the stunning views and friendly staff, especially the helpful concierge, made the experience worthwhile.

Spent a fantastic birthday weekend at Montage Laguna Beach. The ocean views were stunning, truly one of the best I've ever seen. The property maintained impeccable standards—everything felt pristine. My room was comfortable with beautiful decor and had a lovely ocean view. Staff members were genuinely kind and attentive, always ready to help. Enjoyed delicious hand-made chocolates and nightly gourmet s'mores, which added a nice touch to our stay. The pool area was peaceful for the most part, perfect for relaxation. Even had great transportation options to downtown Laguna for some shopping. However, upon arrival, it took some time to navigate the hotel layout, which was a bit confusing. The menus at some of the dining locations felt limited, especially for those with dietary restrictions. Though attentive, the staff seemed relatively inexperienced, which occasionally led to minor service hiccups like longer wait times for drinks or food. Still, the overall experience was memorable and I’d definitely come back.
